Vivid Sydney is the largest event of its kind in the world, infusing lights, music and ideas to give viewers a kaleidoscope of visual stimulations which has blown minds for 8 years now. Its a combinations of projections, instillations, music and creativity.The most beautiful colours and images can be found projected onto buildings, boats, streets, pathways and much more. It's a tantalising feast for the eyes.

The event runs 23 days and attracts people from all walks of life and of all ages. It has no single location, Vivid can be seen from places from Darling harbour, Chatswood and The Sydney Opera House, to Walsh Bay, Martin Place, Central Park and many more including for the first time, Taronga Zoo and The Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney.

The lights come on each night at 6pm and turn off at 11pm and runs regardless of the weather and is and essentially free event.

The 8th Annual 'Vivid Sydney' festival runs a course of 23 days and starts 27th May to 18th June.
